Bryan Craig referred to as just simply

 “Coach”

Bryan has been swimming in competitions for 20 years at different levels and in different countries.

He has been coaching for 8 years now, starting off as an assistant teacher then progressing through to teacher and then took a huge step forward developing unique coaching theories and in the year of 2000 moved to phoenix Arizona to study an internship in the art of coaching under USA Senior National Coach Bob Gillette. At this point Bryan was the head assistant coach and coached many swimmers including an elite group of swimmers who managed to post world top 10 times, and 1 Olympic gold medal winner in Sydney 2000.

In September 2001 Bryan moved to Canada to take the lead position in a small club just outside Ottawa. In three years he showed his ability and natural talent to produce high level swimmers and promote some of the fastest swims ever seen in the area, including swimmers who attended world championships and commonwealth games.

June 2004 saw Bryan come back to England to become the head coach of Dover lifeguard club, a big club with a ton of history Bryan still managed to produce some very fast swims including 2 relay world record channel attempts and 1 solo swim in the year that he was there.

Bryan has spent the last year reflecting on the sport and how to move the sport forward in Britain and now he is the coach of top squad in York.
