Entries

All entries must be on the standard entry forms( photocopies accepted). Entry on sportsystem disk also accepted. Please enclose a large stamped addressed envelope for return of cards. All completed entry forms and fees should be sent to the Meet Secretary:

Please note should the gala be oversubscribed entries will be accepted/rejected in sequence according to date of receipt by the Meet Secretary.  Entries can be emailed to wke@globalnet.co.uk  Entry disks from the Meet Secretary.

Fees

£3.50per event. Canon £6.00 per team.  Cheques payable to York City Baths Club

Coaches passes price £8.00 each to include refreshments, programme and results sheets Please apply and pay with entries.

Seeding

Heats for age 9/10, 11/12, and 13/14 will be seeded according to entry times. All events will be Heat Declared Winner.

Awards

The top six in each single age group (9,10, 11, 12, 13, and 14) within the permitted time will receive awards. Any swimmer who swims faster than the entry time by more than 2 seconds will receive a  speeding ticket. Result sheets will be available at the end of each session.

Entry Cards

Entry cards must be posted 45  minutes prior to the start of the session. Late cards will be accepted according to ASA Guidelines. No Poolside entries .

Any matter not specifically covered above will be at the discretion of the promoters.

NOTE ON ENTRY TIMES

This Meet is for graded swimmers, including Youngsters just starting serious training and Competition. Swimmers should not have swum faster  than the entry times in any gala during 2005. Any submitted entries faster  than the entry times will be rejected.

On the day an improvement allowance of 2 seconds will be allowed. Swimmers who swim faster than the published entry time minus2 seconds will not be eligible for awards, but will receive speeding tickets.
