A small number
of York City Baths Club swimmers attended the above meet and came away with
pleasing results. Georgina Holland
14yrs collected bronze in both the 50m breaststroke and 50m butterfly,
Michael Feetenby 12yrs took bronze in the 50m backstroke and 5th
in the 200m freestyle, Sophie Smith 13yrs also collected a bronze in the 50m
freestyle. Claire Kilmartin 14yrs finished 6th in the 50m
breaststroke.
All the York
swimmers who attended, Elizabeth Feetenby, Michael Feetenby, Matthew Fenech,
Georgina Holland, Claire Kilmartin and Sophie Smith achieved excellent
personal best times with both Elizabeth and Sophie each taking 14 seconds
off their 200m freestyle times in the last swim of the day.
