Scottish Short Course Championships

York City Baths Club Travelled to the Scottish Short Course Championships at the weekend 13 – 15^th January held at Tollcross Leisure Centre Glasgow.

The 10 swimmers had a very successful 3 days they collected 1 gold and 18 finalists and a superb 60 Personnel Best Times.

The Gold medal was won by Hannah Petts in the 14 & under 100m IM in a pb time she came 4^th just missing the bronze medal by under half a second in the 400 IM, She also made senior Women’s finals in 50m 100m & 200m Breastroke all in pb times 50m & 100m Butterfly in PB times and the 200m IM.

Other swimmers who swam superb and did personnel pest times which earned them a place in the senior women’s and men’s finals were-

Rachel Eastaugh           50m Freestyle and 50m Backstroke

Sophie Glasby              200m Backstroke

Thomas Jackson            50m Breastroke

Michelle Moffat            400m Freestyle

Nick Boaz                      50 & 100m Breastroke    T

This is a great achievement for Hannah  Rachel  (14 Years) Sophie (13 years) Thomas (14 years) as they are Junior swimmers.
