Darlington Masters 17^th Open Annual Meet 
 

York City Baths Club Masters took part in their first gala of 2008 at Darlington’s 17^th Open Annual Meet. 5 swimmers traveled from York and returned with an impressive 7 Gold and 4 silver medals. 
 

Highlights of the day came from: 

Roy Crouch 55-59 years age group who achieved gold in 50metres Backstroke and 50metres butterfly and silver in 100metres freestyle.  

Paul Wainwright 30-34 years age group collected 2 Gold Medals in 50metres freestyle and 50metres butterfly 

Anna Nicholson 35-39 years age group also achieved Gold in the 50metres Backstroke and silver in the 50metres freestyle 

Graham Asbury 25-29 years age group won Gold in 50metres Breaststroke 

Lesley Killen 45-49 years age group achieved silver in 50metres Butterfly  

The successful team also managed to take Gold in the mixed 160 yrs Medley relay and silver in the mixed 160 yrs Freestyle relay.
