Any Memorable Moments?

“I have two great memories: one when I came 4th in the 100m Fly at Yorkshires in 2004, and one at the beginning of my swimming career when I was 9 years old. It was my first ever gala and I won Gold in the 200 Back at Harrogate . That was a fantastic day and think that gave me the swimming bug as I couldn’t wait to race again.”

Any funny stories?

“When I was land training there was an incident involving Matthew Reed and Andy Fowler. They collided heads while playing basketball and both fell straight onto their backs in a heap on the floor. Andy Fowler at this time had the hard guy reputation but Matt Reid was the first to jump up, much to every ones surprise, while Andy was left holding his head on the floor for the next 10 minutes and even managed to skip his training session that evening ………Well it was funny at the time!!”

Chris wishes to thank all the people who have helped him out at the club, as a swimmer and those supporting him to become involved in teaching and coach ing.
