We can take new members at any time - just contact the club on the e-mail below and we will be happy to advise you on the appropriate procedures according to your level.

How Do We Pay?

YCBC accepts cheques, cash or standing orders for payment. Payment is required in advance of the period being paid for. Lessons are paid for quarterly (approx. 12 weeks).

How Much Will It Cost?

The charges vary between classes, but as a rough guide the charges (per term) are listed on the back of this leaflet. Charges for all YCBC groups are reviewed in March of each year.

How Do We Know Which Group To Join?

YCBC grades swimmers into groups of similar standard. Each group is named after a different colour and the swimmers in the group wear the appropriate coloured hat. Swimmers in each group will be tested on their skills and will be moved up to the next group when they meet the standards required, provided spaces are available. YCBC also uses the ASA Awards as an incentive but not as a means of testing ability or competence. Swimmers have the opportunity to earn distance badges and speed badges as they progress.

What Are The Advantages Of Joining A Swimming Club?

Children are taught in an environment that emphasizes enjoyment, quality strokes and strict water safety.

Committed/talented swimmers can continue with the club into competitive training.
